Afghanistan records 51 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths in past 24hrs


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan registered 51 new positive coronavirus cases and two deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Sunday.

In a statement the MoPH said 348 suspected cases brought different laboratories during the period for test in which 51 were positive taking the total number of cases in the country to 155,072.

Twenty-five persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total number of recovered patients from the virus to 123,664.

Two people have died from the respiratory disease and that brings the total number of fatalities from the disease to 7,200 in Afghanistan.
