Deputy Prime Minister meets top envoys on sidelines of UNGA


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H E Ayman Al Safadi (above); and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan H E Toshimitsu Motegi (below), in New York, on Thursday.



The Deputy Prime Minister also held separate meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H E Bui Thanh Son; Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela H E Felix Ramon Plasencia Gonzalez; Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus H E Nikos Christodoulides; Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary H E Peter Szijjarto; US Special Envoy for Yemen H E Tim Lenderking; and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change H E Patricia Espinosa Cantellano on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During the meetings, they reviewed bilateral cooperation and relations and a number of regional and international issues, in addition to issues of common interest.
