Shanghai to open its China-Europe cargo train


(MENAFN) On Friday, Sep. 24 Shanghai Customs noted, Chinese economic center of Shanghai will start on a cargo-train service to Hamburg, Germany, on Tuesday, establishing the first cross-border railway activity between Shanghai and Europe.

The "Shanghai Express" will be filled with clothing, auto parts, solar panels, tableware, furnishings, daily supplies, machine parts and other products.

It will depart China via the Alataw Pass in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and arrive in Hamburg approximately two weeks later, transporting by way of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Poland.

Trains at the length of this road will function frequently every week, whereas fresh roads will be launched, offering fresh logistics choices for businesses at home and overseas.
