KABUL (Pajhwok): Work underway on plan for the resumption of girls schools and any other rumors in this regard were wrong and baseless, according to a statement on Friday.
“News regarding the beginning of girls education in social media are wrong and baseless, the Ministry of Education (MoE) want to assure the people that work on the plan for girls schools were underway and the outcome would be shared with masses at due course,” the statement said.
The MoE still not decided to resume girl schools, adding that work on the resumption of girls schools underway.
The ministry urged people to act like a responsible citizen and refrain from spreading wrong news and propaganda that disturb public minds.
On the other hand, international community urged the Taliban to pay respect to women rights and ensure girls education.
