NEW YORK, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Thursday Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
They reviewed the deeply-rooted bilateral ties and means to upgrade them to serve both nations' interests.
They debated several issues of common interest, particularly those on the agenda of the UNGA meeting.
Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Naser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi and His Highness the Premier's accompanying delegation also attended the meeting. (end)
