Oil values jump over surprising decline in US crude oil inventories

(MENAFN) On Thursday, oil values jumped over a surprising decline in US crude oil supplies, as supply disturbances carry on in the US Gulf of Mexico after being hit with two hurricanes.

At 0535 GMT, worldwide benchmark Brent crude reached USD76.38 a barrel for a 0.25 percent increase following ending on Wednesday at USD76.19 per barrel.

During the same period, American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at USD72.44 for every barrel for a 0.29 percent soar when it closed at USD72.23 a barrel in the last conference, as the shocking decrease in US stocks increased the values.
