(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,385.61 points, decreased 0.45 percent from the last close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index dropped 6.30 points from Monday's close of 1,391.91 points, after opening the day at 1,400.84 points.
During the day, the index’s lowest rate stood at 1,383.35 points, as its daily high amounted at 1,403.76 points.
With a daily trading rate of more than 12.4 billion Turkish liras (USD1.4 billion), the total market rate of the BIST 100 reached 1.05 trillion Turkish liras (USD121 billion) by market close.
