UK: Inflation to continue to be higher for 2 years

(MENAFN) A key global agency has expected that prices in the G20 group of main economies will expand rapidly than pre-coronavirus for over two year.

Paris-based policy forum the OECD noted that higher commodity prices and shipping expenses are increasing inflation.

The OECD added that the UK is predicted to have inflation running at around 3 percent at the end of the coming year, the highest rate of the advanced economies.

By contrast, inflation is projected to decline in the US, France, and Germany.
