Dr. Tim Werner is an ARC DECRA fellow at the University of Melbourne School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. With a background in environmental engineering and geographical science, his research employs mixed methods from economic geology, industrial ecology, GIS and remote sensing to analyse various aspects of mining and metal supply chains. He has a particular interest in issues around critical metals/critical minerals, and the landscape impacts of mining.
