On September 12th in Arcadia, the US Overseas Student Union ‘s (USOSU) Election and Recruitment Ceremony were successfully held. Chin Ho Liao (San Gabriel City Mayor), Tony Ding (San Gabriel Deputy Mayor), Paul P. Cheng (Mayor Pro Tem of Arcadia), Ken W.Teh (Assistant of Walnut City representing Council Dr. Allen Wu), Shutang Li (Founder of Easyfind Company), Liu Xiaoying (CEO of Easyfind Company North America), Boxin Yan (Director of PR Law Center), William Cheng, Tienan Cui, Xiaojun Chen (Team of DA MEDIA), Wei Lu (Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Writers Association in Los Angeles), Xuecheng Qian (Chairman of the Guangxi Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles), Xinyi Shen and Meiyu Zhang (Representatives of Kouhigh), Zilin Chai (Chairman of the US-Hebei International Students Association) and Lianyi Jiang (The Vice Chairwoman of the US-Fujian International Students Association) attended the ceremony and awarded certifications. Yuzhou Wu co-hosted the election ceremony with Tunan Li (candidate chairman of US-Tianjin International Students Association).

Shutang Li (Founder of Easyfind Company and the General Counsel of the USOSU) hopes that more international students in the United States will participate and join the organization. The USOSU will assist students to participate in social practice, improve the abilities of international students, and encourage them to practice and apply the knowledge they have learned in life to achieve the ultimate mission of helping and guiding more students.

Yuzhou Wu (The Founder and President of the USOSU) announced and awarded certificates to the list of candidate chairmen of the US-International association of the USOSU to: Yiqi Li elected as the Director of the US Eastcoast of the USOSU. Shenqi Cai was elected as the candidate President of the US-Shanghai International Students Association. Yi Lu was elected as the candidate President of the US-Jiangxi International Students Association. Yucheng Wang was elected as the candidate President of US-Shandong International Students Association. Shiyao Feng was elected as the candidate President of the US-Fujian International Students Association. Baixi Chen was elected as the candidate President of the US-Guangdong International Students Association. And Tunan Li was elected as candidate President of the US-Tianjin International Students Association.

Zhilei Xia (The Secretary General of the USOSU) said that,“our organization welcomes international students from all over the world to join the USOSU family. This is the USOSU's priority and mission since its establishment to provide a“home” for international students in the United States. In addition, the secretary-general will manage the finance department of the USOSU, and the USOSU will gradually improve the financial system and membership system.”
Wanying Wu (The Director of Outreach and Public Relations of the USOSU) said,“in the future, the Outreach Department will gather more funds for the USOSU, support international students, create a diverse, safe and warm environment for international students through social networks. Allowing international students to grow in a creative community. ”
Zhengxin Liu (The Director of Event Planning of the USOSU) mentioned,“the event planning department of the USOSU will co-organize activities with PETA (one of the world’s largest non-profit organizations for the protection of animal rights). In 2019 The USOSU was an officially California-registered non-profit organization. The U.S. Overseas Student Union also assists international students in achieving success in their educational endeavors. The contribution of their varied and unique culture and global perspectives serves to broaden their global awareness. The USOSU is also aim to serve international students, accept and remain open minded, learn from the differences and embrace their own cultures, and promote friendship and peace by regularly hosting public welfare activities and related events.
