Washington, Sep. 21, 2021, SPA -- President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) Dr. Hussam Al-Angari chaired the 18th Meeting of PFAC held in Washington D.C. today, on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by U.S Comptroller and Auditor General Jene Dodaro with the participation of representatives of SAIs from Russia, South Africa, India, Austria, UAE, Norway, and Brazil.
The meeting discussed a number of topics and reports including the Report of the Secretary General of INTOSAI, report of PFAC Chairman and reports of chairs of the strategic goals. Moreover, the committee went through the reports of the committees of professional criteria, capacity building, supervisory committee on emerging issues and IDI.
Dr. Al-Angari concluded the meeting by thanking the international organizations and the participating SAIs for their reports, presentations and contributions which greatly contributed to the success of the meeting.
It is worth mentioning that GCA occupies the position of the Second Vice-president of the Governing Board of INTOSAI and the Co-chair of INTOSAI-Donor Steering Committee.
