(MENAFN) The press service of the Ukrainian army's land forces said in a report that on Monday, Sep. 20 multinational military drill Rapid Trident 2021 started in Lviv region in western Ukraine.
Over 6,000 military personnel from 15 nations will participate in the drill between Sept. 20 and Oct.1 at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center close to Yavoriv in Lviv region.
The Rapid Trident drill has been conducted in Ukraine since 2006 in the course of NATO's Partnership for Peace program. In 2020, more than 4,000 troops from nine taking part nations participated in the exercise.
