Over 108,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses given in Ukraine on Sep 20


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over 108,000 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on September 20, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 108,376 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on September 20, 2021. Some 62,909 people received their first dose, and 45,827 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 794 mobile vaccination teams, 2,814 vaccination sites, and 338 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 11,565,584 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched a vaccination campaign, with 6,366,923 people receiving their first dose and 5,198,661 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 5,159 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on September 20.
