KSrelief Organizes Training Course for Laboratory Technicians in Aden on Combating Malaria


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Aden, Sep. 20, 2021, SPA --King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has organized a three-day course on microscopic diagnosis of malaria for laboratory technicians in Aden Governorate, in cooperation with National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) of the Ministry of Health. Population of the Republic of Yemen, and the World Health Organization (WHO).
The course targets 21 laboratory technician trainees from different Yemeni governorates, during which theoretical and practical information was given in the quality of malaria diagnosis, in addition to qualifying the course beneficiaries to become trainers for laboratory technicians in their governorates.
NMCP's Director Dr. Yasser Abdullah explained that this course comes within the framework of unremitting support being provided by KSrelief to combat malaria in Yemen, especially KSrelief in the midst of disease wide-spreading and climate changes.
It is noteworthy that the KSrelief has recently distributed 21 diagnostic medical devices over health centers in a number of Yemeni governorates.
This falls within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects being provided by KSrelief, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's relief arm, for the Yemeni people in various fields.
