Afghanistan: Bomb assault leaves 2 citizens dead

(MENAFN) Hospital sources stated that on Sunday, Sep. 20 over two citizens lost their lives in a bomb assault aiming at a Taliban vehicle in Afghanistan's eastern city of Jalalabad.

The Jalalabad hospital corroborated the losses after the blast in the fifth region of the city.

Five persons as a minimum comprising some Taliban members were wounded in the assault, according to eyewitnesses.

Up to now, no group has assumed accountability for the assault in Jalalabad, marred by pro-Daesh/ISIS militancy.
