Ali calls for intensifying industrial sector's visits to Iraq


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Ali on Saturday highlighted the importance of intensifying contacts and visits from the industrial sector to Iraq to enhance bilateral economic ties and trilateral cooperation with Egypt.

During a meeting with the board members of the Jordan and Amman chambers of industry and industrialists who were part of a Jordanian delegation's visit to Iraq, Ali called on sector representatives to focus on visits to Iraq in a way that can achieve better results.

The minister noted that the two governments are in constant communication to overcome any obstacles facing the commercial exchange and facilitate procedures for Jordanian and Iraq businesspeople and investors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Iyad Abu Haltam, a member of the Amman Chamber of Industry, highlighted the importance of sector-based visits to Iraq with the aim of increasing Jordanian exports to the Iraq market.
