(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept 18 (Petra) –– The Royal Jordanian Navy and Royal Yachts Command Saturday joined a sailing boat race organised by the Royal Marine Sports Federation in the Red Sea port of Aqaba.
The race kicked off at the Royal Yacht Club, accompanied by boat ambulance and public safety crews to ensure the safety of participants.
The Naval Force Commander said that such events are held as part of a future vision to develop these sports and raise their level to fulfil the aspired goals and ambitions.
The Royal Jordanian Navy and Royal Yachts participates along with the civil society institutions in the various environmental and marine tourism activities to enhance communication and cooperation to serve the public interest, it said.
