(MENAFN) On Thursday, Sep. 16 the Boko Haram terrorist outfit targeted a military group in the Nigerian northeastern Borno state, leaving 12 soldiers dead.
The assault occurred as the group was travelling on a thoroughfare between Borno’s capital Maiduguri and the garrison town of Monguno, said local reports.
The outfit also confiscated three trucks.
Boko Haram has been conducting aggressive assaults on citizens in communities and military posts in the region since July 2009.
