Abu Dhabi, Sep. 17, 2021, SPA -- The UAE expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia systematically and deliberately targeting civilians and civilian objects in the Jazan region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with bomb-laden UAVs, successfully intercepted by the Coalition Forces to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia reflects its blatant defiance of the international community and disregard for all international laws and norms, calling on the international community to take an immediate and decisive position to stop these repeated actions that manage to target vital and civilian facilities and endanger the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that the continuation of these recent attacks are a dangerous escalation, and new evidence that this militia is seeking to undermine security and stability in the region.
The statement reiterated the UAE's full solidarity with the Kingdom against these terrorist attacks, supporting all measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.
