Amazon Prime, on Thursday, announced the dates for the premiere of the upcoming mystery thriller series, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'. The streaming platform informed that the series is all set to come out on 15 October. The premiere will be out with the first 4 episodes followed by dropping episodes weekly thereafter. The season finale will be out on 12 November.

The teaser of the show is out. We can spot Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, and others. The series is an adaptation of Lois Duncan's 1973 novel, of the same name. A film adaptation of the book is also out.

“One year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, a group of teenagers find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer,” reads the official logline.  “As they try to piece together who's after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town—and themselves. Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly.”

I Know What You Did Last Summer series is written by Kevin Williamson. Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television are the producers of the series. It will be very interesting to see how beautifully the Amazon series adapts the original text. It will also be challenging for the writers to keep up with fans’ expectations and keep them hooked to the series throughout.
