Iran resumes flights with Afghanistan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sep 15 (Petra) -- Iran Wednesday announced it will resume flights with Afghanistan after a disruption caused by the latest developments at the Kabul airport and in the country.
The Fars News Agency reported the Mahan Air flew a plane carrying 19 passengers from Mashhad International Airport to Kabul on Wednesday.
Iran had suspended flights with Afghanistan on August 16 against the backdrop of the Taliban takeover of the country.
