Lower house speaker receives Palestinian agriculture minister, 1st, final add

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Al-Atari stressed the importance of strengthening the work of the joint committees between the two agriculture ministries to increase the flow of agricultural commodities and products and to develop and frame the agricultural sector in the two brotherly countries, pointing out that the impact of the Jordanian-Palestinian company will be significant and benefit both sides in a short period.
"We look at the Jordanian-Palestinian relations as a relationship of brotherhood, blood, soil and destiny. Through this company, we look forward to translating the Jordanian-Palestinian relationship into a reality that serves the steadfastness of our people in Palestine and to enable Jordanian and Palestinian farmers to find marketing opportunities for local products of both countries and to organize the marketing path through product filling and grading centers and points of sale in and outside the region, leading to product transfer mechanisms and direct selling through the company's centers abroad," Agriculture Minister Khaled Hneifat said in the meeting.
Head of the Agriculture, Water and Badia Parliamentary Committee, Mohammad Al-Alaqma, underlined the committee's keenness to communicate with the Palestinian brothers, and to overcome any obstacles they face in the agricultural sector.
He emphasized that Jordan and Palestine share a common history, present and future, and accordingly Parliament will continue to express the conscience of Jordanians who support the brothers and see in Palestine the cause, conscience and Arab identity whose steadfast people resist all practices of Judaization and settlement.
