KSrelief Continues Implementing Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Project in Hajjah and Saada Governorates, Yemen


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Hajjah/Saada, Yemen, Sep. 14, 2021, SPA -- The Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued the implementation of the water supply and environmental sanitation project in Hajjah and Saada governorates, Yemen.
During the period from August 26 to September 1, 2021, as much as 32,000 liters of drinking water and 400,000 liters of non-drinking water were pumped in Hajjah Governorate. Moreover, 54 shifts conducted to remove waste from the camps of the displaced, 94 personal hygiene kits were distributed, in addition to the implementation of four aerial spraying campaigns.
In Saada governorate, 100,000 liters of drinking water and 40,000 liters of non-drinking water were pumped, and 100 hygiene kits distributed, benefiting 28,742 individuals.
