US reiterates its call for talks with North Korea
(MENAFN) Local media reported that the US reiterated its call for discussions with North Korea, declaring that Washington has no insistent intentions toward Pyongyang.
According to Washington's special envoy for North Korea, Sung Kim, his country plans to resolve all issues with North Korea through discussions.
Sung further declared that "As we have made it clear repeatedly, the United States has no hostile intent with the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea)," Seoul-based Yonhap News Agency reported.
The report added that he reiterated his requests for North Korea to return to talks, saying that the latest improvements in the North served as a reminder of the significance of improved collaboration amid the US and its allies.
