(MENAFN) According to an exporters association, Turkey's automotive industry exports amounted at USD19.2 billion in the January-August period of 2021.
The Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OIB) further declared that the country's automotive exports increased by 30 percent annual in the mentioned period.
The auto sector took first place in the country's overall exports, with 13.4 percent.
In comparison to the previous year same time span, automotive production rose by 14 percent in the January-August period and stood at 814,520 units, as automobile production augmented by 6 percent to 511,766 units.
