(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Kuwait Airways has appointed Total Air Services Ltd as its General Sales Agent in Bangladesh for both passenger and cargo flights. The GSA agreement has been effective from August 1, 2020.
Speaking about it, Morshedul Alam Chaklader, Managing Director and CEO of Total Air Services Ltd, expressed his joy in being selected as the GSA for the flag carrier of Kuwait. This is a very positive sign to go forward and to take it to the next level, he added.
It may be mentioned here that Kuwait Airways is not currently operating any schedule passenger flights to and from Bangladesh. However, the airline operated nine freighter flights during the month of September and has already scheduled 12 freighter flights in October.
In the pre-COVID era, the carrier used to operate 12 weekly flights to and from Dhaka.
