Saudi Scout Association participates in the Extraordinary Arab Scout Conference


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, September 10, 2021, SPA -- The Saudi Arabian Scout Association will participate in the extraordinary Arab Scout Conference, to be held via video conference technology tomorrow, where the proposed constitutional amendments will be voted on, including the constitution of the Arab Scout Region, the constitution of the Arab Scout Organization, and the bylaws of the Arab Scout Organization.
The Arab Scout Organization was established by a decision of the Arab League Council, to boost the pan-Arab cooperation among the youth, comprising the Arab Scout Center, the Arab Scout Funding Fund, and the Educational Scout Laboratory.
Since its establishment in March 1954, the organization has been seeking to develop the scout movement in the Arab region per the movement's objectives and principles, to spread the spirit of belonging among the Arab youth, and strengthen the ties and cooperation among Arab scout bodies.
