Doha: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah received a phone call from Canada's Minister of National Defence, H E Harjit Sajjan.
They reviewed military cooperation and relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them.
The latest developments in Afghanistan and the recent evacuations were also discussed.
The Canadian Minister of National Defence expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts by Qatar in the Afghanistan evacuation operations.
