Saudi, Omani businessmen to set up company specialized in petrochemical, chemicals


(MENAFN) According to Argaam referring to a report by Oman News Agency, Saudi and Omani businessmen plan to establish a business specialized in petrochemical and chemicals.

“Saudi businessmen are looking for major investments in Oman’s industrial, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, fish farming, mining, food, animal feed, tourism and real estate sectors,” chairman of the Saudi-Oman Joint Business Council, Nasser Al-Hajri declared.

The planned name of the joint venture is “Gulf Company.”

The official further declared that Saudi businessmen seeking to invest in Oman, provided they get better incentives and facilities.

Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih led a Saudi delegation that paid a visit to Oman to explore investment chances amid both countries.
