Arab Interior Ministers Council Condemns Houthi Attempt Targeting Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Tunis, September 03, 2021, SPA -- The Secretariat General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers has condemned the repeated terrorist operations and the continuous provocative attempts by which the Iran-backed Houthi militia seeks to target civilians and civilian objects in the territories of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, citing the latest launching of a bomb-laden drone by the Houthi militia towards the city of Khamis Mushait, successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen.
In a statement issued today, the Council of Arab Interior Ministers described these actions by the Houthi militia as "systematic hostile practices", which represent war crimes that must be stopped and accountable.
The Council of Arab Interior Ministers reiterated its support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure the security and safety of its facilities, citizens and residents on its territories.
