KSrelief's Masam Project Dismantles over 1,300 Mines in Yemen During Last Week of August


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, August 29, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the last week of August 2021, a total of 1,352 mines, including 45 anti-personnel mines, 159 anti-tank mines, 1,147 unexploded ordnance and one explosive device.
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 271,275 mines have been dismantled.
The project seeks to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of hundreds of innocent people.
