Royal initiatives: 19 vehicles delivered to charity, youth and civil society organisations


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — Under Royal directives, Royal Court chief Yousef Issawi on Thursday handed the keys of 19 vehicles to a number of charity societies, youth clubs and civil society organisations during a ceremony held at the Royal Court, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The beneficiaries include societies working in the fields of tourism, training and rehabilitation of young people, women, persons with disabilities, orphans and the elderly.

Issawi, who is also the head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of Royal initiatives, said that the vehicles were delivered to a number of institutions that have achieved successes in serving their local communities.

The Shobak Visitors Centre also received six electric cars to transport tourists as part of the Royal initiative.

Tourism Minister Nayef Fayez and Social Development Minister Aymen Mufleh, who attended the ceremony, commended the Royal gesture, highlighting its role in supporting the tourism sector and serving development goals.
