Libya, UNICEF ink work arrangement on security of children


(MENAFN) According to UNICEF’s report on Tuesday, August 4, Libya's Ministry of Social Affairs and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have inked a working arrangement on the security of children in Libya.

The signed plan, which is expected to run up to Dec. 31, 2022, will develop community-based child protection, psychosocial, and reintegration services are accessible for boys and girls.

The report also stated that capacity of the Ministry of Social Affairs is improved to better stop and respond to violence, abuse, and exploitation, enhance awareness of the dangers of violence against children and evidence generation to further check and report grave child rights breaches.
