(MENAFN) According to Tourism Minister Najib Balala, visitors to Kenya are going to have to hold to new Coronavirus rules.
The measures are part of the “new normal” for health and safety regulations.
A news conference in the capital Nairobi quoted Balala as saying that “With the majority of people embracing the Covid-19 vaccines worldwide, we deem it important to issue a comprehensive Covid-19 vaccination policy and procedures for both guests and staff at all levels of establishments’ operations. That’s why today we are launching the reviewed protocols.”
Kenya's second-largest foreign exchange earner after horticulture, Tourism, has added hospitality workers to the frontline in the fight against the pandemic with mitigation measures, having operationalization of vaccination programs that is going to include service providers in the hospitality industry.
