(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Beijing, Aug. 4 (Petra) -- China's flight test of a Hyperbola-1 commercial carrier rocket was unsuccessful, official sources announced Wednesday.
"Abnormal performance was identified during the flight of the rocket, which lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 3:39 p.m. (Beijing Time) on Tuesday," the sources added.
It was the third launch of Hyperbola-1 rocket and the second failure in just six months.
