Media minister visits Al-Raya Media Group


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, August 3 (Petra) -- Minister of State for Media Affairs, Sakher Dudin, on Tuesday visited the Al-Raya Media Group as part of a series of communication visits he is making to national media institutions.
Dudin urged media outlets to focus on publishing positive messages that would serve citizens and society, in parallel with zooming in imbalances without exaggeration or intimidation, and avoiding messages that cause confusion or concern in society, especially during abnormal circumstances or crises.
Dudin, who also the government spokesperson, called on media outlets keep abreast of modern technologies and the digital revolution, which contributes to the improvement of media messages and their delivery to all age groups, especially youth people.
Doudin also stressed the importance of the national role presented by local media outlets in directing public opinion and their contribution to conveying the state's messages.
He underlined the importance of selecting information and news from their official sources and avoid rumors that affect the society and harm the state's reputation.
During the visit, the media minister was briefed by the group's executive director, Mohammad Musleh, on the work mechanism of the group, which includes (Hala Radio, Hala Akhbar (News), Jeish (Army) FM and Bliss Radio).
