Helicopter accident occurs in India


(MENAFN) According to local media reports, a helicopter to an Indian army stopped working in Ranjit Sagar Dam of Pathankot district in the northern Indian state of Punjab, and no fatalities are recorded till now.

A local news agency cited what a senior police official of Pathankot, Surendra Lamba announced "We have received information that an army helicopter has crashed in the lake. We have rushed our teams to the spot."

Reports also stated that two pilots from the army aviation Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv helicopter on board have lived after the helicopter accident that was on a usual sortie.

According to a report that mentioned what sources showed "The weapon system integrated helicopter had taken off from Pathankot and met with the accident."
