MoU on school feeding inked by Libya, WFP


(MENAFN) On Monday, Aug. 2 the Libyan Education Ministry and the World Food Program inked a memorandum of agreement on school feeding.

A report by the ministry said that the MoU was inked by Minister of Education Musa Muhammad al-Maqrif and WFP Representative and Country Director in Libya Rawad Halabi.

The report further said that the minister hailed the WFP's attempts to shore up primary and middle school students, affirming that the ministry will track and observe the application of the MoU.

The MoU will spend in school gardens, nutrition education, micronutrient supplementation, and deworming.
