1,748 covid-positive travelers at Tocumen since October


(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Some 1,748 travelers have tested positive for covid-19 at the Tocumen international airport since the terminal resumed operations last October.

In this period, 190,710 tests have been carried out, says the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

Passengers have been detected positives are from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Peru, and Venezuela.

Meanwhile, 186 travelers without a vaccination card or incomplete scheme, who did not have a declared address or do not reside in Panama, have been transferred to Covid hotels where they must stay for three days, the Minsa reported.
