Iran: Company’s crude oil desalination plant reaches progress over 90 percent


(MENAFN) The company’s crude oil desalination plant amounted at progress over 90 percent and is estimated to operate in the current Iranian year, according to director of engineering and construction at the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC).

The mentioned project is included of a desalination unit with a capacity of 20,000 barrels per day (bpd) and improving of 42,000 bpd of crude oil which will desalinate the oil from Ghale Nar field near Andimeshk city, Khuzestan Province, Ebrahim Piramoun said.

The official further declared that the project also includes building 5.5 kilometers of high-pressure power line and drilling of wells for waste disposal that were already completed and prepared to be commissioned.
