China's photovoltaic power generation increases in 1st H


(MENAFN) Official data declared that China's photovoltaic power generation increased 23.4 percent on annual basis in the first six months of 2021 within China’s efforts to top carbon dioxide emissions and attain carbon neutrality.

Accompanied by Wang Dapeng, an official with the National Energy Administration, China’s photovoltaic power generation reached 157.64 billion kWh in the first half.

He also stated that newly-added installed photovoltaic power generation capacity summed 13.01 million kilowatts in the first six months, and the increasing installed photovoltaic power generation capacity topped 268 million kilowatts by the end of last month.

The country publicized that it would finish the subsidies for new centralized photovoltaic stations, distributed photovoltaic projects as well as onshore wind power projects from the central government budget in this year and attain network equivalence.
