Car manufacturing by Iran’s major carmakers increases 11.2 percent


(MENAFN) According to the data released by Codal website, car production by Iran’s major carmakers increased 11.2 percent in the January-April of the current Iranian year in comparison to the previous year same time span.

Three major carmakers, namely Iran Khodro Company (IKCO), SAIPA Group, and Pars Khodro, manufactured 289,311 vehicles in the January-April period of 2021, increasing from 260,235 cars produced in the same period of the past year.

IKCO produced 145,045 vehicles, registering an increase of 37.7 percent in comparison to the previous year same time span.
