Turkey receives support by Jordan to help face forest blazes


(MENAFN) On Saturday, Turkey received support by Jordan’s King Abdullah II to help the country face forest blazes that occurred since Wednesday.

Ayman Safadi, Jordanian Foreign Minister stated that he requested his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu to give Jordan’s pities to Turkey over the fatalities of the blazes.

Safadi added that King Abdullah II has delivered orders to offer Turkey with any help needed to deal with the blazes.

He also tweeted “At the directives of His Majesty, we are ready to offer any support needed,” marking that Jordan is going to “stand in full solidarity with our brethren.”

Moreover, sums of 98 forest blazes broke out in Turkey since July 28, with most of them happening in southern regions, and the Turkish experts managed to control 88 of them, while six people have died in the blazes until now.
