Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani directed to send a team from the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force“Lekhwiya” to the Republic of Turkey to participate in the search operations for the missing in the fires that swept Turkish provinces.
This came in a phone call held by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani with Turkish Interior Minister H E Suleyman Soylu yesterday.
During the phone call, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior expressed his deepest condolences and the condolences of the Qatari government over the victims of the fires, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The two sides also reviewed the strategic cooperation ties between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them, in addition to issues of mutual concern.
