DOHA, July 31 (KUNA) - Qatar has strongly condemned the attack targeted a funeral procession in the Iraqi province of Salahaddin and killed a number of victims.
In a statement Saturday, the Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.
The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the victims' families, the government and the people of Iraq, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Yesterday, gunmen attacked a funeral procession in the Iraqi province of Salahaddin and killed a number of victims. (end)
