Public Prosecution launches mobile app with 46 services


(MENAFN - The Peninsula) Doha: The Public Prosecution launched an electronic services application for smartphones, to facilitate access to services and information at any time and from anywhere using various mobile platforms and operating systems.

The application, launched by the Information Technology Department at the Public Prosecution, complements other electronic services that aim to deliver digital Public Prosecution services to the public, such as the website and self-service devices deployed in various locations.

The new Public Prosecution e-services program is the updated version of the application launched in 2016. The new version provides the same electronic services that can be accessed through the Public Prosecution's e-services portal.

The e-services application provides many services, including inquiring about communications, requests and rulings, registering and following up on complaints, submitting requests, electronic payment of fines and guarantees, viewing session dates, obtaining a photocopy of the communication file and many other services.

The application of the electronic services of the Public Prosecution is available to all categories of customers, including individuals, law firms, government agencies, and private companies.

Services available to everyone without the need to log in:
• Inquire the status of cases and judgments.
• Inquire the status of requests.
• Electronic payment of deposits, fines, bails and fees.

Digital services for the public:
• Access to cases related to the user, as well as judgments and requests for public service.
• Follow-up in the event of issuing orders or judgments related to the case.
• Submit new requests.
• view the status of requests submitted by the user.
• Electronic payment services.
• Reporting cases do not appear in the App.
• Update the requirements in order to obtain the requested service.
• Obtaining scanned copies of the case file after obtaining the necessary approval and paying the required fees.

Digital services for law firms:
• Register New Law Firms and get access to the application.
• Electronic registration of power-of-attorneys (personal, corporate and government agencies power-of-attorneys)
• View clients cases and access the case’s information, status, related judgments and other available information.
• Follow-up in the event of issuing orders or judgments related to the cases.
• Submit new requests.
• View court sessions schedule.
• Electronic payment services.
• Managing user accounts.
• User dashboard.
• Report cases do not appear in the App.
• Submit the requirements in order to obtain the requested service.
• Obtaining scanned copies of the case file after obtaining the necessary approval and paying the required fees.

• Create a new account for an institution or company.
• Access to information related to cases, their status and other available data.
• Follow-up in the event of issuing orders or judgments related to the cases.
