São Paulo – The secretary-general of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), Tamer Mansour (pictured) participated in an online panel of the 12th International Economic Summit“Russia – Islamic World: Kazan Summit” Russia Halal Expo, a major international economic event hosted by the Russian Federation and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Mansour talked about the expansion and digitization of the ABCC during the pandemic.“I addressed our successful case over the last eighteen months, how the Chamber has changed into a Chamber 4.0 by digitizing, cutting the red tape and making processes international. I spoke at length about the Ellos Blockchain , our initiative for traceability, and ABCC Lab , our project for startups,” he said.
The summit was opened by the president of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, Rustam Minnikhanov. Kazan is the capital city of Tatarstan. The event started last Wednesday (28) and runs till Friday (30). Five thousand people from 72 countries are attending the three-day event. The summit has been held annually since 2009.
