Sentiment amid South Korean customers deteriorate during pandemic


(MENAFN)According to central bank data, sentiment amid South Korean customers in the economic situation deteriorated in July during the fourth wave of the global pandemic.

The Bank of Korea (BOK) issued that the complex customer sentiment index (CCSI) reached 103.2 in this month to decrease 7.1 points from June.

CCSI indicated its first drop in 2021 because worries about the fourth coronavirus recovery begun in July.

South Korea logged 1,896 more coronavirus cases for the previous day during the newest total, increasing the total figure of infections to reach 193,427.

From the time when South Korea established its first case in January 2020, it recorded the highest everyday cases, and the day-to-day figure of confirmed cases soared above 1,000 for consecutively 22 days.
