Turkey’s, Uzbekistan’s leaders talk about bilateral relations, regional matters


(MENAFN) An official report said that on Saturday, Jul. 24 the presidents of Turkey and Uzbekistan talked about bilateral relations and regional issues.

The Turkish Communications Directorate stated that during a phone conversation, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked about measures to boost ties between their respective nations.

The presidents exchanged good wishes for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice.

The Turkish president also congratulated Mirziyoyev on his birthday and wished him a well and long life.
