Turkey’s, Togo’s FMs talk about bilateral relations, regional matters


(MENAFN) On Monday, Jul. 26 Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu convened with his Togolese counterpart Robert Dussey in Turkey’s capital Ankara to talk about a variety of matters.

Cavusoglu said on twitter: "I am happy to host my friend Robert Dussey in our country for the second time this year." He added: "we discussed international and regional issues and our developing bilateral relations." Dussey last paid a visit to Turkey last month.

Dussey noted he had a "fruitful meeting" with the Turkish Foreign Minister. He tweeted: "we exchanged our points of view regarding international and regional issues. We are both very satisfied ofthe level of our bilateral cooperation."

The two sides have good bilateral ties, and their bilateral trade, which was USD106 million in 2019, is increasing.
